Kathy Caton is the founder and MD of Brighton Gin. She also finds time to be an award-winning freelance broadcaster, producer and presenter at both the BBC and on independent radio, and advises The Archers on their current craft gin storyline. She presents the multi-award winning Out in Brighton radio show, is a Silver award winner in the Co-Op Respect Awards and was short-listed for the National Diversity Awards. Kathy also featured in The Independent’s annual Pink List for 2013 and their Rainbow List for 2014. Kathy was inspired to found Brighton Gin whilst running along Brighton seafront after a late night out purely on the gins and finding herself virtually hangover-free. Since launching, Brighton Gin has won Gold at the Global Gin Masters, Gold at IWSC, the IWSC’s Packaging Trophy and was named as the UK’s Best Gin in the 2017 People’s Drinks Awards.
